What we collect

To run The Shop we collect: your name, email, phone and date of birth; your member number and home location; your emergency contact; your certifications and bookings; the project files you upload; and, when you sign a waiver, a record of that signature (including the date, time and the IP address used).

Why we collect it

We use this information to manage your membership and bookings, verify certifications, keep the workshop safe, respond to an emergency, and keep the signed liability waivers we are required to retain. We send operational messages (booking confirmations, reminders and waiver requests) as part of running your account. We only send marketing messages if you have opted in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Where it is stored

This reference build is hosted in the United States. A production deployment for Canadian members would be assessed for cross-border data transfer and, where required by Quebec Law 25, hosted or safeguarded accordingly.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25 you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Signed liability waivers are kept for the period we are legally required to retain them and may be held past a deletion request on that legal basis.
